Hills Reliance Main Panel Main panel with back up battery. This panel is the central hub of the alarm system. It is connected to the main power via a dedicated power point, and is where all the components of the alarm system are wired back to. It also contains a back up battery to provide non-interrupted power to the alarm system in the event of a power failure.

Codepads
The codepad is situated close to your main entry door. It is where the system is armed and disarmed, and also programmed from. It can store multiple codes for different users.
You have the choice of the standard Vertex push button LED codepad, or the new Voicenav codepad. You can also upgrade to an LCD codepad for an additional cost.

Motion Detectors We use only high quality dual-tech detectors to eliminate false alarms. They use both passive infra-red & microwave technology, which have to detect movement simultaneously to activate an alarm. These detectors are much more reliable than detectors that run on infra-red alone. They also have Anti-Cloak Technology to detect an intruder even if they try to use a camouflage technique to try to block the infra-red signal. No more false alarms from spiders!
Pet-sensitive detectors are also available that will be immune to one dog up to 45kg or up to 6 cats.

Reed Switch
This concealed magnetic switch is installed to your main entry door. When this door is opened the magnetic connection is broken which puts the alarm system on delay to give you time to enter your code and disarm the alarm. Available as a flush mount for wooden doors or surface mount for glass or aluminium doors. |

|
Internal Noisemaker
This recessed noisemaker is installed into the ceiling in a central part of the house. It emits a very loud 120dB siren to make it very uncomfortable and deafening for whoever is inside. |
|
|
External siren/strobe
This is installed to the external wall or eave of the house. It has a siren to alert people in the neighbourhood that the alarm has activated. It also has a strobe light which continues flashing until the alarm is disarmed.

Remote key fobs
Designed to remotely arm/disarm the alarm system. Ideal if you want a detector in the garage where you park the car. It allows you to disarm the system before driving in to the garage. The remote can also be wired to operate most automatic garage doors. |
|
|
Smoke Detector
A smoke detector that runs off the power of the alarm system, so there are no batteries that require changing. Complies with Australian Standards.
