A closer look at Invisi-Gard
Let fresh air into your home while your security door stays locked. Choose a frame colour to suit your entrance, with black mesh that lets you see outside.
Stainless steel security mesh
High-tensile 316 stainless steel mesh resists attempts to cut or force through the screen. Its low-reflection black coating makes the mesh less noticeable, giving you a clearer view through the door.
Three-point locking
A triple lock secures your door near the top, middle and bottom of the closing edge, helping resist attempts to lever it open. Three hinges support the door on the opposite side.
Frame colours
We can powder coat the frame in any colour.
Mesh gripped inside the frame
Invisi-Gard’s Extreme Grip Protection (EGP) system grips the mesh around its edges, helping keep it in place under a kick or heavy blow.
Inside the frame, a wedge presses the PVC inserts against the mesh to hold it in place. No screws pass through the mesh. The PVC also keeps the stainless steel and aluminium apart to prevent corrosion from contact between the two metals.

Invisi-Gard stainless steel mesh lets air through while the security door stays locked. You can leave the main door open for ventilation.

Every frame is made to the measurements taken at your house and finished in the colour you choose. When the job is ready, we fit it. If it ever needs attention, you call the workshop.

Built to your openings rather than trimmed from a stock size, and coated in your colour. Roller shutters are made to your sizes by a specialist maker, and locks come from established lock makers.

Frequently asked questions
How much does an installed security door cost?
A standard hinged Invisi-Gard security door starts from $1,497 including GST, measuring and installation. The standard offer includes a three-point lock, a standard colour and removal of the old door. The price assumes we fit the new door to a suitable existing frame. Larger or double doors, special finishes and frame repairs change the price. You receive a written quote for your opening before ordering.
How long does it take to get doors, screens, shutters or gates installed?
As a guide after your order is confirmed, allow around 1–2 weeks for security doors and window screens, and 3–4 weeks for roller shutters or gates. Measuring, choosing products and approving the quote happen first. Custom work, supplier stock and busy periods can change these estimates; your quote will confirm the expected timing.
Can I see the products before I decide?
Yes. The showroom is at the workshop in Hume, so you can see the mesh, the locks and the colours side by side. Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 12pm.
Who do I contact about a problem after installation?
Contact Argus on (02) 6260 1511 with your invoice details and a description of the problem. Photos can help us identify the product and fault. We assess the issue and explain whether it is an installation repair, manufacturer claim or quoted service visit.
